China's Li Na will be in the list of the 100 most influential people in the world and appear on the cover of the latest issue of Time magazine.

The world no. 5 in women's tennis Li Na is the first Asian to win a grand slam when she won the French Open singles title in 2011.

Li Na commented on the honor of being voted as a glamourous figure of TMZ, "I am so excited to be featured on the cover of TIME magazine's 100 Most Influential People In The World issue. It's a great honor for me to be in the position of being able to help grow, promote and further build the sport of women's tennis around the world, especially in my native China. I couldn't be more honored to be on the list that includes some of the most talented people in the world, and to make an impact on women and women athletes. I am grateful to TIME for giving women's tennis the recognition it deserves."

Women's tennis has become extremely popular in China following Li Na's win. She also reached the finals of the Australian Open in January this year, losing to Victoria Azarenka.
