Aside from "Cinderella," Leibovitz's works for Disney Productions include Scarlett Johansson and the Disney Dream Portraits.

A trailer of the film has been released on Nov. 19, so fans can now catch a glimpse of what is in store on March 2015 when the classic fairytale will once again mystify a splashing audience.

The cast includes veteran actors in Hollywood, with the role of the Fairy Godmother played by Helena Bonham Carter, and the wicked stepmother is played by Cate Blanchett, both were nominated twice for the Academy Awards.

To direct the cast is an equally accomplished director and actor, Kenneth Branagh, who is known for his adaptations of Shakespearean plays, and also a five-time nominee for Academy Awards and a recipient of Emmy for his role as Reinhard Heydrich, a German Nazi official in a 2001 film "Conspiracy."  In recognition for his expertise in the field of acting and directing, Branagh earned three BAFTA's for "Henry V" in 1989 and a TV series "Wallander: One Step Behind" in 2008-2009, Latin Post reported.

This is more than enough to hold the interests of fans as they await the saga of young Ella, whose tragic fate in the hands of her stepmother and stepsisters is too grievous, so much so, that in the world of fairytale, her destiny was changed as the glass slippers led her feet to a life of bliss and perfection, exactly the way fairytales should be,
