The National Football League's (NFL) Oakland Raiders earned their first victory by rallying together to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs (24-20).

Before the game against the Chiefs, the Raiders were 0-10 for the season. They were the only team left in the 2014-2015 NFL season to not have a win yet.

Rookie quarterback Derek Carr changed all that, giving his team and the people of Oakland something to celebrate for a change.

The first half of the game was all Raiders.

Their defense was able to hold back the Chiefs for the first quarter, not allowing them to get any points on the board.

Latavius Murray completed an 11-yard touchdown run to cap off an 8-play drive and put the Raiders up on the board.

The second quarter was more of the same, with the defense of the Raiders stifling any attempts of the Chiefs, as they were only able to complete a field goal by the end of the first half.

Murray had another touchdown in the second quarter, this time a 90-yard run. He had four carries in the game but soon left the game due to a concussion.

By the end of the half, Raiders were up, 14-3.

The Chiefs seemed revitalized after the halftime break though, and they began clawing their way back.

Quarterback Alex Smith threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Fasno, while the Raiders only had a field goal in the third quarter.

Just when the 14-point lead the Raiders builty seemed to be crumbling, Carr stepped and saved the day with a 17-play, 80-yard drive to win their first game.

The Raiders are only the third team since the merger to beat a first-place team for their first win after losing at least 10 games to start the season.

With this win, the Raiders snap their 15-game losing streak.
