New Zealander recording artist Lorde has reportedly been exchanging tweets with a porn star named James Deen, giving way to speculations that she might be flirting with him.

According to media reports, the 18-year old 'Royals' singer has recently been chatting with Deen, an adult movie star, on Twitter. Lorde is said to have started following Deen on said social networking service after he posted on the site that the she is '[expletive] awesome'.

On his Twitter account, he wrote, "I recently started listening to Lorde. Lorde is [expletive] awesome."

Lorde responded to the 28-year old actor by complimenting a profile that had been written about him on GQ Magazine back in 2012, saying, "And vice versa. Adored Wells Towers' GQ Profile a couple years back."

Deen, who starred opposite Lindsay Lohan in the 'Canyons', then encouraged the 'Royals' hit maker, telling her to continue being 'forever awesome', followed by a  tweet which contained the lyrics to Lorde's song 'Team'.

The adult movie actor, whose real name is Bryan Sevilla, posted some more messages, addressing Lorde. In his third tweet about the singer, he claimed to have been told to throw his hands in the air and wrote, 'Lorde, you understand."

On the other hand, Lorde is said to have recently taken to Twitter to air her reaction about meeting rap artist Pitbull, saying that meeting him is 'not dissimilar' to meeting the president.

According to media reports, Lorde was impressed by the rap artist after meeting him backstage at the American Music Awards which was held last Sunday, November 23. The singer has immediately shared the experience with her followers on Twitter.

"I met Pitbull backstage, felt this wave of his charisma and loveliness wash over me," wrote the singer who later compared the encounter to meeting the president.
