Busta Rhymes suffered a fall injury during his concert last Friday, Nov. 28 at New York City's Webster Hall. The incident left the 42-year-old rapper with a lesion on head with blood constantly dripping from it.

Rhymes was performing on stage with fellow rapper and hip-hop singer O. T. Genasis during the said event when he fell off the stage hitting his head first.

The afternoon following the incident, Thymes uploaded a video to his Facebook and Instagram accounts which showed him holding a bottle of alcohol in one hand, then a cigar in the other before finally falling off the stage. It was also seen in the video how some people helped Rhymes up.

Through social media platform Twitter, the rapper was also able to update fans on his current condition.

His post read, "I salute all calls frm family and friends makin' sure I'm good. Just4 the record, I'm super good."

He further added that passion is all about doing what one loves and that when one badly wants to win, he will have to go hard.

Rhymes' humor played a good part as he attributed the fall to the song he was singing on stage with O.T. Genasis when the incident occurred, the hit record "CoCo" from his equally successful recording label, Conglomerate.

He mentions that the triumph of Conglomerate as "the hottest record in the country" normally brings about a hard fall which he considers as a sign to just keep going with rapping and singing,

"We done fell off stages and broke limbs while performing and kept going," Rhymes tweeted.

The song "CoCo" is now available in iTunes.Rhymes was best known for the popularity of his song "What's It Gonna Be" which landed him the Music Video Award of the Year from The Source Awards and The Michael Jackson Award for Best R&B/Soul or Rap Music Video from Soul Train Music Awards.
