Following the sinking of the South Korean fishing boat Tuesday, 52 more crew members are already feared dead. The incident was an aftermath of high and unstable waves in the Bering Sea. At least one person was reported dead while seven other individuals survived.

Relatives and families of the dead and missing blamed the owner and captain of the ship for not going the extra mile to ascertain the safety of their family members from the freezing water of the Bering Sea.

Authorities have already initiated a thorough search with the assistance of about five fishing ships and a few helicopters from the Russian coast guard. Although the search was done in the middle of rough weather and bumpy waves,  company officials are still hopeful to find the missing individuals.

During the assembly at the company's head office, the fishermen's relatives sought clarification over the turn of the events. They wanted answers as to whether the ship's captain or Sajo Industries (canned tuna company that owned the ship) was responsible for the sinking.

The relatives wanted to clarify if necessary and immediate emergency steps were taken and ordered by the captain and whether the tuna corporation ordered and instant evacuation.

In a recorded footage of the gathering that transpired, a person who was assumed to be one of the missing persons' relatives was heard shouting, "Stop blaming the captain. The company should have ordered an evacuation in such a crisis."

The sunken ship named Oryong 501 housed one Russian, 11 Koreans, 13 Filipinos, and 35 Indonesians when it left the port of Busan, South Korea on July 10. It was reported that during the sinking, the waves in Bering sea reached up to almost 13 feet.
