Last Wednesday, Oregon State announced that they have hired Andersen as their new head football coach. He leaves the Wisconsin Badgers after two season, compiling a 19-7 record and making one appearance in the Big Ten championship game.

On the same day, the school also confirmed the move with a released statement. Barry Alvarez, Wisconsin athletic director, said that as soon as Andersen notified him, he was already looking for a head coach to replace him.

Alvarez also mentioned in a news conference that he was very surprised by Andersen's move. He had no idea that it was in the works and he thought that he was a good fit for the team.

"My first concern is taking care of the players on the current team, especially the senior class, and ensuring that their bowl experience is a memorable one," Alvarez said. "I will find a head coach to uphold the great tradition at Wisconsin, someone who is committed to excellence both on and off the field."

If the team's players have any say in the matter, they may just be able to help Alvarez with his problem.

Wozniak turned to social media and called out Favre to be their head coach.

Favre will certainly be loved in Madison, and a man who possesses much experience and talent that reached the upper-echelon of professional football, he knows what it takes to build a successful football team.

He officially retired from the National Football League (NFL) On January 2011. Since then, he has had some participation in several football career analysis endeavours.

He was an analyst for his alma mater, Southern Miss, when they played the Rice Owls on October of 2011. He was also included in the pregame coverage of Super Bowl XLVII.
