The Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop update has begun. Users in the U.S. have to wait another month, however.

Users in Poland reported the release is going smoothly. There haven't been complaints from users to date.

Korea will be next in line for the roll out and users in this region have to wait for an official announcement from Samsung and their carriers. Galaxy S4 GPE users could get the Lollipop update soon.

Meanwhile, the LG Android 5.0 Lollipop update started in Europe, specifically the UK and Poland in November.

The latest Android 5.0 Lollipop is said to be aesthetic just like the iOS 8 and has an even wider range of options for its users. One of the top advantages of Android over Apple is its ability to choose and modify.

Android 5.0 Lollipop has a new user interface called Material Design UI executed across all Google services and apps with third party app compatibility programmed by developers.

It also offers the Project Volta battery tool, OpenGL ES 3.1 and Runtime. The guest mode allows users to configure their devices to allow access only to certain data and apps when the phone is used by anyone not the owner of the device. The functionality prevents other users from changing settings.
