LG is the only manufacturer to offer products that make use of OLED technology. There are three models that stand out in LG's OLED product line: the LG 55EC930V, the LG 65EC9700, and the LG 77EG9700.

The LG 55EC930V 55-inch model is the most popular of the three. Tech Radar said the LG 55EC930V, which is one of the few OLED TVs manufactured to date, has enabled the average consumer to buy something they can truly marvel at.

This TV costs around US$15,600 to begin with.

If you're wondering what makes OLED technology stand out, the main reason is because of its use of the emissive pixel system instead of the more common backlighting system.

These emissive pixels provide levels of contrast and blacks that other types of TV technologies aren't able to do. The contrast level of these LG OLEDs has a significant bearing on the top notch image quality they produce.

According to LG, the key features of the three OLED TV models mentioned above include the 4-Color Pixel system, the Infinite Contrast system, the Curved Design and its Energy Star Qualification.
