T-Mobile Offers ‘Test-Drive’- Use iPhone to Try Out The Network

T-Mobile Test Drive

This Wednesday, America's fourth largest wireless carrier T-Mobile launched a new program, dubbed as "Test Drive" which would allow people to test the network for free.  The company has also partnered with Apple to provide iPhones for the customers to try out the network.

To avail the service, a customer has to sign up online, and provide credit card information. The customer will then get a loaned iPhone 5S a couple of days later. Unless the phone is broken or lost the customer won't be charged a penny.

"This will be an industry standard in two years," John Legere, who is the CEO of the company, said in an interview.

With Test Drive program T-Mobile plans to back up its claim of being the fastest wireless network in the nation. Which is quite true, and even the quality of its service is excellent in big cities especially. However, in small towns, and areas away from major metro cities the coverage gets pared down.

Undoubtedly, the iPhone loaning is the key attraction of this program. A large number of people would be willing to try out the service just so that they could get their hands on the iPhone. But, the whole plan won't work in the good direction just for T-Mobile. Apple will also get benefitted as more people would be able to check out the features of their iconic phone, and turn into customers.
