Hot Mugshot Guy Jeremy Meeks Lands Modeling Contract

If a recent change in fortunes indicates anything, America's most handsome felon, Jeremy Meeks, just might be headed to Hollywood.

Reportedly, the good-looking criminal has landed a modeling contract with a California-based agency and looks to earn thousands of dollars a month on advertising campaigns - if he can get out of jail, that is.

Meeks currently faces 11 criminal charges which include illegal gun possession and gun crime. The 30-year-old criminal is also saddled with a US $1 million bail and could face a lengthy sentence if convicted.

But that hasn't stopped the Santa Monica modeling agency. The handsome criminal has allegedly signed a US $30,000 contract to model the prestigious Tom Ford brand at his trial.

According to reports, the bad boy will be wearing a Tom Ford suit when he goes to trial on July 8.

Meeks, otherwise known as 'Hot Mugshot Guy,' rose to fame after a mugshot revealing his chiseled features and baby blue eyes was posted on a police Facebook page in June.

Despite his violent record of gun-related activities and the current charges he faces, 'Dreamy McMug' caused an uproar with his startlingly good-looking photo.

Women have reportedly been sending in marriage requests by the dozens, although Meeks has opened up about being married and having a young son.

Others aren't too happy about the offender's rise to internet fame, and criminal defense attorney Darren Kavinoky is one of them.

The attorney seems to be less than amused by the swooning surrounding the supposedly dangerous criminal and stated that the willingness of people to disregard a history of convictions in favor of physical appearance and attractiveness "speaks poorly of where we are."

Part of what Kavinoky says no doubt rings true, but most likely won't stop people from clamoring to see Jeremy Meeks hit it big with a potential Hollywood career, experts said.
