Manhunt is On for Las Vegas Road Rage Killer

The Las Vegas Metro Police Department has stepped up the manhunt for the young man who shot to death Tammy Meyers after a road rage incident on Thursday between the two of them.

Meyers, 44, a mother of four, was teaching her 14-year-old daughter how to drive when the incident happened. She was taken off life support on Saturday and died at the University Medical Center.

To expedite the capture of the suspect, described as a man in his mid-20s, 6 foot tall, weighing about 180 pounds and has a dirty blond hair in spike style, the police released the sketch of the suspect last seen driving a four-door gray or silver sedan. The car possibly has some damaged on the front driver's side due to his Thursday collision with Meyers's vehicle that led to an argument and the shooting, reports Fox.

According to investigators, Meyers drove home with her daughter and upon reaching home, asked her adult son for help. When the suspect's car appeared outside Meyers's home, multiple gunshots were heard, with one of the bullets hitting Meyers.

The gunman fled after the incident, but his vehicle possibly had some hit from the 9-mm gun used by Meyers's son. With him were two other men in the vehicle.

The victim's son, Matthew, said his mother did not deserve to be killed by the gunman. She recently became a grandma when Matthew's wife had a son, now one year and two months who would not have a chance to know his grandmother.

Tammy's husband, Robert, told KSNV, a CNN affiliate, that he bought her a Valentine's Day bouquet for the last time on Saturday, which he had done yearly. "

And I can't do that no more because of this senseless act," Robert said, quotes KTLA 5.
