Defending women's doubles champions Peng Shuai and Hsieh Su-wei may have been eliminated already but the ones they lost to have surged on to the finals.

The Hungarian-French duo of Timea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic has dominated their German-Slovak opponents, Andrea Petkovic and Magdalena Rybarikova, in their semi-finals matchup Friday at the All England Club in London.

It took the 14th seeds Babos and Mladenovic only 56 minutes to finish off the match with a final score of 6-1 6-3.

The key to Babos and Mladenovic win are their serves. They were able to win 69 percent of 1st serves as well as 2nd serves plus, they only limited their unforced errors to four.

In the recent French Open, Babos along with then partner American Varvara Lepchenko was eliminated early in the first round while Mladenovic made it past the third round along with then partner Italian Flavia Pennetta.

This is Babos and Mladenovic's first time as teammates and their combination seems to be working as their first Grand Slam appearance went on to the finals.

Babos and Mladenovic's will now face French Open runner's-up Italian's Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci in the finals.

The Australian Open champions Errani and Vinci made their way to the finals after defeating the combo of China's Jie Zheng and Czech Andrea Hlavackova in two straight sets 6-3 6-2.

This is Errani and Vinci's 8th Grand Slam finals together since teaming up in 2012.

They have won four Grand Slam titles, twice in the Australian Open and one a piece at the French Open and U.S. Open but what has eluded them is the Wimbledon crown. And this is their first time in the finals of Wimbledon.

Will the Italian's conquer Wimbledon with their first appearance or will the team of Babos and Mladenovic, who defeated the defending champions, reign supreme?
