Dr. Seuss might have passed from the scene for a while now, but fortunately for Dr. Seuss fans, old manuscripts by the much-loved children's books' author keep showing up.

Random House Children's Books made an announcement last Wednesday and said that they will publish a new Dr. Seuss book, entitled "What Pet Should I Get?" The book is based on a manuscript that was just recently discovered and will feature Dr. Seuss sketches. It will be available on July 28.

Aside from that, there are still two more books that the publisher plans to release based on manuscripts and other materials found in 2013 by Audrey Geisel, the author's widow, and his secretary in his swanky seaside home located in La Jolla, San Diego.

Theodor "Ted" Seuss Geisel, which is the author's real name, died at the age of 87 back in 1991.

As shared by Random House, after the author's death, Audrey decided to remodel their home when she accidentally discovered a box full of pages of sketches and text. She then set it aside and kept it together with the rest of Ted's materials.

22 years later, in the fall of 2013, Audrey, with the help of Claudia Prescott, Ted's secretary and long-time friend were cleaning his office and rediscovered the box and other materials she set aside.

Both of them found the illustrations and the full text for the upcoming book "What Pet Should I Get?" as well as other work that the publisher plans to release in the future.

Fans are elated and beyond excited with the news and cannot wait to get their hands on the first Dr. Seuss book in 25 years.
