The Yahoo female executive who was accused by her former female subordinate of sexual harassment has filed a counter suit Wednesday, claiming that her accuser concocted the story for money.
Maria Zhang, Yahoo Mobile's senior director of engineering, denied forcing her former female employee, Nan Shi, to have oral and digital sex with her in exchange for a "bright future" for Shi at the company.

Zhang, in her counter suit filed before the Superior Court of Santa Clara, said Shi made up the entire sexual harassment story to save her job and avoid losing hundreds of thousands of dollars in Yahoo stocks.
Zhang is seeking damages, court and legal fees for defamation and emotional distress allegedly caused by Shi's accusations.
Zhang denied any sexual relations that happened between her and Shi and said in court documents that her work performance was mediocre and did not meet company expectations.
The executive further said that after Shi was notified of her poor performance, she complained to the human resource department in March saying that Zhang was a "demanding manager" and that she threatened her job. Zhang cited that Shi never mentioned anything about sexual harassment.
In her counter complaint, Zhang said the human resource department investigated the incident but found no evidence to support Shi's claims.
It was only in April that Shi reported to the human resource department that Zhang allegedly forced her to have oral and digital sex with her in exchange for favorable treatment at Yahoo.
The HR investigated Shi's complaint of sexual harassment but she was unable to provide evidence such as emails, communication records, telephone records, and even photos.
Zhang is a senior director of engineering at Yahoo and was the founder of Alike which Yahoo acquired in Feb 2013. Shi was a principal software development engineer for Yahoo and was a subordinate of Zhang.
Zhang said in court documents that the complaint filed by Shi "destroys the lives of people who are wrongfully accused."
Zhang said the company investigated the matter and retained Shi until the probe was concluded. Shi was terminated earlier this month.
