Jacky Wu: Yang Jun Rong Responsible for His Non-Invitation to Jay Chou's Wedding

Taiwanese TV host Jacky Wu has expressed his displeasure for not being invited in Jay Chou and Hannah Quinlivan's wedding, saying that his former business partner Yang Jun Rong was behind his non-invitation.

On Monday, March 16, Wu stated that he felt offended for having been excluded in the guest list of Taiwanese superstar Jay Chou's wedding last month. The TV host, who is known for launching the singer-actor's career, joked about the issue at first, but then, he began criticizing Chou, accusing him of being ungrateful.

As opposed to the initial claims that it was Chou and his mother who were behind his exclusion from the guest list, the 52-year old TV host claimed that Yang Jun Rong, the CEO of Alfa Music, was the one responsible for it.

Wu evaded the question when asked about Yang's reason for excluding him from the guest list and said, "All of you should know my character...Forget it, I don't want to talk about this anymore. The more I divulge, the more I hurt those people."

The TV host also told the media that they should understand the entirety o the situation.

On the one hand, Yang denied Wu's allegations and claimed that the guest list was decided by Chou's parents and that he had nothing to do with it. Yang explained that Chou suggested inviting Wu, but his mother had the final say on the list.

Furthermore, he pointed out that as Chou's manager, his only responsibility is to keep him on the safe side. He also expressed his gratitude towards the host, saying, "Both Jay and I are grateful that Jacky gave us this opportunity to forge a strong bond with each other."

Netizens, however, speculated that Chou's mother did not invite Wu to the wedding because she was allegedly unhappy about the host's decision to sell his company off along with the singers under the company.

Wu and Yang used to be business partners until the former sold Alfa Music off after encountering financial problems back in 2002.
