Blackstone reportedly called the police on Saturday and informed authorities about a dead person and three dead dogs in the garage of her San Fernando Valley residence.

Upon arrival at Blackstone's residence, the emergency crew  found her 49-year-old deaf sister, Wendy Blackstone slumped on the floor holding a suicide note. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

Authorities said the note looked suspicious and believed it was written by Jill.

Further investigation showed the body had no outward signs of trauma, prompting experts to conduct toxicology tests to determine the cause of her death.

There had been reports where Jill had claimed her sister died of carbon monoxide poisoning, from a charcoal grill also found inside the garage.

But some neighbors said they have been hearing from investigators that Wendy had died due to asphyxiation and that the sisters tried to poison themselves from the fumes of their car.

Another neighbor, the Cohens, said the sisters had been under a great deal of pressure recently, as they were being forced out of their San Fernando Valley home by developers.  Signs on the property were also visible, that said it was for demolition.

Aside from being deaf, Wendy was known to be partially blind.  She had not been seen by anyone since two days before she died.

Aside from 'The Jerry Springer Show', Blackstone also produced a number of shows such as Sally Jessy Raphael and Rosie, Dr. Drew, Divorce Court, The Tony Danza Show and Family Court With Judge Penny.

Jerry Springer couldn't immediately comment on the incident, but said Blackstone was a good person.

'She hasn't worked on the show for twenty years but I remember her,' Springer said in an exclusive interview with Daily Mail. "She was just a very nice person. She was one of our producers and a very good one," he added.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said Blackstone's case is an ongoing murder investigation.
