Reporter: how do you fell about your trip in China?
Beckham: I have really enjoyed the trip; because I have been able to meet so many different fans, as well, visit some beautiful places around the country. You know, I was here three months ago, which was also a very successful trip. I got chances to see a couple of teams here. But this trip is longer comparing with the last one. During this trip, I saw a Chinese super league game, which made me feel very excited.
Reporter: Being an ambassador for the Chinese football super league is supposed to be high pressure. Do you feel that?
Beckham: My philosophy on that kind of thing is every team, every country has to go through bad times. I remember being an England player, the last game in Wembley was against Germany, and we lost the game on our own grounds. That was probably one of the worst times for me as an England player. But you have to go over these things. You have to realize there is better to come. Every body has bad results in football, you know, that's what is great about the game. There are so many ups and so many downs. That's why so many fans love this game all over the world. For me, I believe the country should be competitive with some of the best countries in the world on the football stage.
Reporter: So now you are an ambassador, how are you going to introduce Chinese soccer into the world?
Beckham: I'm not saying that I'm a miracle worker, because I am not. But I could give my experience to the club, give my experience to the youngsters that are growing up in this country, playing this game. I have qualified experience, you know, and hopefully that is all I can give to the league and to the young players in the country.
Reporter: Are you going to teach your children to play football?
Beckham: Yes, all my children play football, even my little girl.
Reporter: I guess you have heard the news that our national team's coach has been fired. Is it a good idea to be both an ambassador and a coach?
Beckham: I am not interested in being a manager of any team. That is something I'm not in passion about. There are so many excellent managers, you know, coach. I don't have to be a manager right now. I'm sure Chinese national team will be success in the future.
