JJ Lin Apologizes to Jolin Tsai for Unintentionally Ignoring Her During His Duet with G.E.M.; Spotted on an Alleged Date with G.E.M.

Singaporean singer JJ Lin apologizes to Taiwanese diva Jolin Tsai after unintentionally ignoring her on stage while he sang a duet with Hong Kong singer G.E.M. Tang during a music awards held in Shenzhen ceremony last month.

In March, Tsai, Lin and Tang have all been invited to attend the awards ceremony in Shenzhen, and during the event, the host, Huang Zijiao, invited Tang to sing the song 'Beautiful' with Lin. Lin allegedly forgot about Tsai, who was standing on stage, subjecting her into an awkward situation while he performed with Tang.

Said incident, according to media reports, caused the Taiwanese singer's fans to react negatively towards Lin whom they have accused of being discourteous.

However, on a recent promotional activity in Hong Kong, Lin revealed that he already apologized to Tsai in private for what happened. He explained that the situation at the awards was spontaneous and that it was not his intention to make his fellow singer feel awkward.

He said, "I told her I was sorry and she had accepted my apology."

Lin further added that he is currently in the process of writing a song for Tsai, but explained that he is not yet done making it. "Good work has to be produced slowly," the male singer said.

When asked about Tang and if he will invite her to be his guest performer in one of his concerts, Lin merely smiled awkwardly and explained that after the awards, he kept in touch with the Hong Kong singer and cited that they've worked together in his previous concert.

In related news, it was reported that Lin and Tang were spotted on an alleged date together.  The rumors surfaced when Tang's fan requested to take a photo with her at a restaurant. Fans spotted Lin standing behind Tang in said photograph.

The photo caused fans to speculate that the two celebrities are dating after meeting at the awards in Shenzhen.

Lin's music label, Warner Music, responded to the rumors, saying that the singer had gotten closer after their collaboration, emphasizing that they only met for a meal and nothing more.
