Former TVB actress Yammie Nam's mental status reportedly worsened and it is speculated that she is suffering from a mental condition called paranoid schizophrenia.

In 2004, the public learned of Nam's mental instability after she was admitted to the hospital for unstable mental health.

Nine years later in 2013, the actress revealed that she was raped by two entertainment industry leaders. These events in her life were considered as huge factors in her deteriorating mental health. However, Nam denied the story after the interview was exposed to the public.

Now, it is said that the 51-year old actress' mental instability has taken a turn for the worse and it was reported that she is suffering from paranoid schizophrenia. In addition, none of her closest friends were able to help her.

Reports state that Nam's daily routine is to shop and dine alone and claims state that she has been spotted smoking for hours while muttering mindlessly to herself while continuously crying.

The previous week, reporters allegedly spotted the actress on her way back to her Stanley home. Nam allegedly attacked the reporters saying, "Move over! What are you doing? Leave! This is illegal! Who are you? What's your name?"

Her friend, Siu Yam Yam shared that the actress' mental health has not improved. "She's always tense and afraid that someone would harm her," says Siu.

Mary Yeung, Nam's friend, also shared that the actress stopped going to church with her. She revealed, "She's always calling me in the middle of the night to yell at me, telling me that I dumped her parents' Buddhist beads and that I should pay her back."

Yeung also explained that Nam spoke of seeing demons in said Buddhist beads, so she decided to throw it away. Nam's friend further stated that the actress was suffering from delusions, saying, "I didn't think she was sick before, but now I believe it. I'm afraid of her now."

In addition to her mental instability, it was revealed that Nam allegedly suffering from uterine fibroid, but she refused to seek treatment for it. Her friend, former actress Lana Wong, also attested to Nam's refusal to see doctors for her condition.
