China Producer Gao Xiao Song Drops Clues About Wu Yi Fan's Solo Album; Wu to Attend 2015 NY Met Ball

Mainland Chinese producer Gao Xiao Song drops hints about Wu Yi Fan's upcoming solo album on his Weibo page, revealing that the project would include some English songs.

On a recent interview with Nandu Media regarding the music video for a movie soundtrack he is working on, Gao also revealed that he is currently working  on creating an album for Wu, formerly known as Kris, one of the Chinese members of the South Korean-Chinese boy group EXO.

His announcement created quite a hype among Wu's fans and left them to wonder about the details of the new project.

On April 22, the Chinese producer seemed to have finally dropped a hints about the new album on his official Weibo page.

When a fan took to Weibo to request Gao to write some English songs with rap lines for Wu, the producer replied and hinted that since it's Wu he is writing songs about, his solo album would have to include some English songs as well. It is known among fans that before coming to South Korea, Wu lived in Vancouver, Canada.

Furthermore, Gao revealed that a famous American producer will be contributing to the creation of Wu's solo album. The producer stated that the unnamed western producer will be producing a duet with Wu.

In addition, Wu will be including some of his own bilingual rapping in the album.

On the other hand, Wu will be sent as China's representative for the 2014 Met Ball in New York. He will be attending the exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum with Chinese actor Chen Kun as representative male celebrities of China.

According to reports, the New York Metropolitan Museum will be holding its annual ball with the theme 'China: Through the Looking Glass'. The exhibit will feature Chinese art, film as well as fashion, and will be held from May 7 until August 16.
