Jessica Alba Admits to Being a ‘Tough Boss’

Hollywood A-list actress Jessica Alba admits to being a 'tough boss' to the point of making some of her employees cry.

Alba, who owns the eco-friendly brand, the Honest Company, admitted that she could be a tough boss when it comes to her employees. She revealed that she has even made some of her workers cry due to her hard bearing.

"Sometimes, I'm a little more iron fist than velvet glove. I'm straight to the point," the 34-year old actress said. "I've made people cry."

The 'Fantastic Four' star then explained that her hard stance towards her employees is nothing personal, adding that things need to get gone and 'it's as simple as that'.

However, Alba also amended by saying that she is learning to 'tone herself down'. She says that she is trying to be gentler when it comes to dealing with people.

"We're not crying anymore," the actress said, referring to her people under the Honest Company.

On the other hand, Alba shared matters about her family as well, particularly about her daughters Honor, who is six years old and Haven, who is three. Alba claims that she does not know whether her daughters prefer staying at home more, but added that she does not think she can get off work entirely.

On the new issue of 'More' magazine, the mother of two shared, "You don't really know how your career is affecting your kids until they're adults and they say, 'You ruined my life, Mom!'"

She shared the possibility that her daughters would like her to be 'a stay-at-home mother who bakes chocolate-chip muffins all day.' Alba rejected the idea and jokingly said that she might want to start her own chocolate-chip muffin company in the future, too.

Alba says she is content with her life at the moment and admits to feeling a lot better than she did in her younger years.
