American actress Kristen Stewart made a claim that women have to work harder in Hollywood because the industry is 'disgustingly sexist' on her latest interview with Harper's Bazaar UK.

Stewart, who played the iconic role of Bella Swan in the blockbuster vampire-themed flick 'Twilight', says that it is an inevitability for women to work a tad harder in the entertainment industry, her reason being her belief that Hollywood is, borrowing her words, 'disgustingly sexist'

The 25-year old star tells Harper Bazaar UK, "Women inevitably have to work a little bit harder to be heard. Hollywood is disgustingly sexist. It's crazy. It's so offensive, it's crazy."

Moreover, the former child star, who was featured as Jodie Foster's diabetic daughter in the 2002 thriller film 'Panic Room', also expressed that she does not enjoy fame.

Her love life has been under the limelight after she started dating her 'Twilight' co-star Robert Pattinson and later made headlines after she was caught in an affair with 'Snow White and Hunstman' director Ruper Sanders.

Stewart stated that she considers fame as 'the worst thing in the world' especially if it is 'pointless'. She said, "When people say, 'I want to be famous,' Why? You don't do anything."

Other than her opinions about Hollywood and fame, Stewart shared her thoughts about her weight, admitting that she is 'bigger than sample size' whenever she indulges in fast food, but claims to be happy and comfortable in her own skin.

Stewart explains that she easily loses weight especially when she is stressed or working on projects. "My weight and my sleep are tied to my nervous system," she said, adding that there were times when she'd sleep for 12 hours straight and times when sleep 'doesn't exist' for her for months at a time.

As for bed scenes in movies, Stewart says that she does not have any issues with them, but admits that she felt pressured when her character in 'Twilight' finally had to make love to her vampire mate, Edward.

The actress says she only hates such scenes when they're 'contrived', claiming that such situations make her 'grotesquely uncomfortable'. She says that she wanted the scene to turn out great, but had difficulty trying to imagine how she would live up to it.

In related news, Stewart stars in the new film 'The Clouds of Sils Maria' alongside actress Juliette Binoche.
