Good news to all gaming fans, new updates for "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" was released, which includes new gameplay details and its official soundtrack.

GamingBolt reported that new gameplay details are being implemented in "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" as several different journalist have tried the game in a closed-door event hosted by Konami.

Nacho Ortiz from MeriStation was able to play the game and he reached level 20 in the Mother Base. Ortiz was able to complete 12 Primary missions and six Side missions as he described the game as "episodic," similar to a TV series. He also noted that the prosthethic arm that Snake/ Big Boss wears in "Metal Gear Solid 5" can be upgraded as it increase the duration of reflex reactions, stun enemy units, fire rockets and even Sonar.

Ortiz also commented on the Hospital level and described it as "brutal", and felt a mix of stress and confusion due to surprises and astonishing graphics. There is also a new weapon called the "Honey Bee," a prototype missile launcher where it can only be used in certain conditions in the game.

Ortiz asked Konami representatives if Ocelot or Quiet could be playable characters but they teasingy did not answer him.

Another reporter name Matthew Castle from OXM played "Metal Gear Solid 5" as he assisted a "rebel militia" within the game for seven hours straight, International Business Times reported.

Castle described the game and its open-world map as a "really good example of open world stealth." He also revealed two bonus missions in "Metal Gear Solid 5" - saving political prisoners from being transported and second is ambushing a truck full of rocket launchers.

Lastly, Castle uses an armored horse during the game, and its armor and abilities can be upgraded in the "MGS5."

“Decide to stick to trusty D-Horse for future runs," Castle said. "Have upgraded its armour so now wears a riot shield on its face. Hardcore.”

In other news, "Metal Gear Solid 5's" official soundtrack has been revealed online. According to IGN, AP Entertainment writer Derrick J. Lang tweeted that he overheard one the game's soundtrack while he was playing.


IGN was able to post all of the game's soundtrack such as "Kids in America" by Kim Wilde, "Diamonds & Rust" by Joan Baez, "Cat People" by David Bowie, "In The Air Tonight" by Phil Collins, "Africa" by Toto, "Original Sin" by INXS and many more.

Dualshockers also reported that Konami announced a series of lottery figures in Japan in a press release from Happy Kuji. The lottery will allow anyone to buy a ticket and get corresponding prizes that ranges from action-figures and other goods. It is said that the lottery will begin on September, same month as the official launch of the game itself, wherein each ticket will cost 741 yen ($6) and they will be sold in stores such as Family Mart, GEO, Furuhonshijo, Hobby Zone, just to name a few.

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" will launch on Sept. 1, 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The PC version of the game will available on Sept.15 via Steam.
