"Heroes of the Storm" was released just last week and it seems that it is already in a state of expansion. Blizzard released a whole bunch of screenshots for the game, hinting that the game might soon see an expansion. Gamers will love the new features and other updates to the game, said reports.

The upcoming expansion of this game is titled as "Eternal Conflict" and it revolves around another Blizzard property, according to The High Def Digest. The expansion will see the addition of a new map, called the "Battlefield of Eternity" and will also see the addition of two heroes from "Diablo 3."

The first additional character will be that of "The Butcher," who will also be seen playing the character of the boss on Diablo 3 (which is releasing at the end of this month). The Butcher is an assassin and can potentially cause consistent damage to all the enemy forces because of the fact that each of his kills makes him more and more stronger. The second additional character will be that of Johanna the Crusader, who was introduced in the same game in its June 2 release, as per The Hero nexus.

"Heroes of the Storm's" current hero list is dominated with the Warcraft heroes because of the rich lore of the IP. Gamers enjoy playing with the numerous Warcraft heroes and expanding their skill set in the game. But now, Eternal Conflict is going to highlight the Diablo character franchise and give it a bigger space in the new games.

The latest battleground will be showing two lanes around a central combat area. In this area, two of the opposing Immortals will fight it out and it is up to the gamers to give their Immortal characters an advantage, if they plan to attack the other one. It requires skill and ample precision to fight in such a manner as the battleground is packed with numerous features and other highlights.

"Heroes of the Storm" is available to be played on both PC and Mac.
