The 3rd generation of Moto X is rumored to arrive in two variants. According to this rumor, the first version will be 5.7-inches long and the other will be 5.2-inches. The first one will be called Moto X Plus as it is reportedly bigger in size.

The 5.2-inches version of Moto X 2015 will be equipped with a Quad HD super AMOLED screen display along with a resolution panel of 1440 x 2560, and a pixel density of 565 ppi. It will also be sporting a 16 mega pixel rear camera with an optical image stabilizer, as per The Latin Times. It is said to be the perfect companion for some great selfies.

The camera will also be equipped with a clear pixel technology, catalyzing the effect of high definition. It will be enabled to record at a speed of 4K with 30 frames per second and do a 1080p recording with 60 x 120 frames per second.

It will sport a 5 megapixel front camera plus a hexa core Snapdragon chipset, 4GB of RAM and will be available in 32 GB and 64 GB versions. It comes equipped with some excellent hardware and is eagerly awaited by the Motorola fans and users, said reports.

Android Lollipop 5.1.1 will be pre-installed in this device, as per International Business Times, but with Android M also scheduled to come out later in the year, the phone will then update to the latest version of the Android Operating System.

The 5.7-inch version, on the other hand, will be a Verizon exclusive device. It is rumored to be equipped with a fingerprint scanner and a type-C USB port though no detailed information about this variant is presently available, according to Stuff.

Motorola is known to announce its new X series smartphones in every third quarter of the year, so this phone might reportedly hit the stores in August or September. Motorola's President Rick Osterloh agrees with this observation as he recently tweeted that his company tries to stay in the annual cycle for the launch of its devices, including Moto X.
