On his debut year at Manchester United, Van Persie delivered 30 goals in all competition and brought the Premier League Championship back at Old Trafford. But the following couple of years was hard for the Dutch International with injuries and inconsistency problems.

But Van Persie knows that his contract will end in 2016, and so far, there's no talks about the contract extension for the Dutch International.

Reporters asked Van Persie, if he is worried? He told the reporters via Metro.co.uk "Am I worried? No, I'm totally relaxed, I have a contract with this club until 2016."

Only Manchester United will tell the future of the Dutchman, if he could still stay another year or not. But Van Persie was not anxious about his future and still has the desire to extend his contract for another 8 years if they like to.

In August he will turn 32, But the Dutch striker is keen to keep playing in the first team, even though few years from now he will step down to his level. "But not for now" he quoted. He insisted that he still in good shape, although in the past couple of years he was doomed by injuries and had another one this past season.

Perhaps, RVP doesn't want to make a hasty decision on his career and regret retiring early later. Even the former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes regretted his decision for quitting the game early on his career. He saw the legend Scholes kept on training and still craving to play football as he knew to himself he still capable of playing at the highest level.

But Van Persie's future still hangs on the balance. No confirmation yet is agreed, but Serie A Champion Juventus, 3rd place finisher S.S.Lazio and Galatasaray are expected to pursue him this summer, according to ESPN FC.
