Despite calling it quits in March, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have apparently remained close friends.

"I'm not the best interviewee on this kind of thing, but we're friends and proud parents," the Coldplay vocalist told Ryan Seacrest this Thursday on "On Air with Ryan Seacrest," referring to his relationship with the actress and their children, Apple and Moses.

According to US Weekly, the 37-year-old frontman claimed that there is still "a lot of love" between him and his ex-wife. They remain "very close" despite their split earlier this year.

Last Monday, the couple was spotted at a screening of "Hector and the Search for Happiness" in East Hampton along with Paltrow's mother, Blythe Danner.

Danner was reportedly sitting in between her daughter and Martin to avoid photos being taken of the exes. Photographers still managed to click away and snap several pictures of the pair during the screening and in the after-party, where they were spotted making conversations with friends and peers.

A source for the New York Daily News described the two as "very flirty and fun-loving" and looked like "the cutest summer couple."

However, Martin confirmed that he and Paltrow are not together as a couple anymore despite rumors.

Paltrow also denied the buzz about the two of them "recoupling," saying that there is no new issue to talk about.

The actress announced in March that their 10-year marriage has come to an end but she and Martin will still "consciously uncouple and coparent" their children.

These terms sparked up a blaze of disapproval on social media and numerous websites, including instances when the two were described as "pretentious" and "ridiculous," to name a few.

There had been no comments from either Paltrow or Martin for several months after they announced their split.

On the other hand, they have remained good friends and have been spotted to be regularly going out for dinner with their children. The two have also been seen together at the Hamptons several times for the past weeks.
