Veteran actor, Damian Law has denied receiving racy messages from troubled actress, Sire Ma. Despite hints dropped by Ma’s former lover, Wang Zi Qi that Ma sent flirty texts to him, the senior actor maintained he did not get any of them, even expressing support to the embattled actress.

While filming the Hong Kong television drama, which ran from October to December 2012, Ma apparently got too close to Lau. The 27-year old actress who played Elaine Chung in the series was allegedly seen “clinging by Damian’s side and behaving flirtatiously,” said JayneStars.

The news web site also pointed out that the she was flirting with the veteran actor “in hopes of increasing her screen-time with the veteran actor, who had the clout to change scripts to suit his preferences.”

But Lau who played Sir Arthur Chung in the period drama vehemently denied reports that Ma was sending him suggestive messages.

“No I haven’t received them.” Damian was quoted as saying by JayneStars, before adding, “She is so brave to face the situation!”

But Lau is not the only co-star in the Television Broadcast Limited production who came to Ma’s defense. The actress who played Ma’s mom in the TV series, Mary Hon came out to express support for the Miss Hong Kong pageant runner up winner. JayneStars said that as soon as Hon found out about Ma’s troubles, she issued a statement commending Ma of her behavior on the set.

“The Sire I know is very respectful towards seniors and is a very hardworking actress,” Hon said.

Ma has been making headlines recently for the racy video that leaked online, featuring the Chinese actress dancing in her lingerie.
