The festival is the annual event showcasing 144 films from 32 countries. One of the most popular Taiwanese romantic comedies "In Time with You" is getting a South Korean remake. The South Korean version, titled "Time I've Loved You," stars Ha Ji Won and Lee Jin Wook. It premieres on Saturday, June 27.

The story is about two lifelong friends, Jang Ha Na (Ji Won) and Choi Won (Ji Wook), who have been with each other through thick and thin for 17 years. According to the synopsis posted on Viki, "... they've been through many things together in the nearly 20 years of friendship, including relationships that each has had with other people."

When Ha Na, a fashion merchandizer, receives an email from Won, an assistant purser for an airline, about "symptoms of premature aging," she makes a bet that she would get married before they turn 35, angry at the commonly held belief that "men are like grapes that turn into a fine bottle of wine as they age while women are like grapes that shrivel up into raisins," Viki posted.

PD Jo Soo Won said that he wants to just highlight the sentiment of the original source material as the sentiment is good in it, according to Dramabeans. Speaking about whether a 17-year friendship could turn into romance, Jin Wook said that he earlier used to think that there cannot be friendship between a man and a woman.  Now, because of the drama, he has started to believe that the two can be friends and their friendship can turn into a romantic relationship.

Ji Won never tought about whether friends can become lovers, as she is the kind of person who believes in first impression. She falls in love if she likes the first impression, according to Dramabeans.  Like Jin Wook, she also seems to be changing her opinion. Dramabeans quoted her as saying "I think I could advance to a romance with the friend beside me."

The Taiwanese version, starring Ariel Lin and Bolin Chen, was a huge hit when it aired in 2011. It also won seven awards at 47th Golden Bell Awards that year, including for best actress, best actor, best director, best screenplay and best television series.

Ji Wook is returning on television after the time-traveling drama "Nine: Nine Time Travels" that aired in 2013, while Ji Won's last drama was "Empress Ki" that aired in 2014.
