All roads lead to the 2015 San Diego Comic Con, and what better way for late night TV host Conan O'Brien to ride into San Diego than by emulating "Mad Max: Fury Road" and wielding a flame-throwing guitar.

In a last-minute decision, "Conan" host Conan O'Brien decided to go on a roadtrip with Andy Richter to San Diego, wearing their best "Mad Max" costumes. Seattle PI reports that to stay true with the movie, the TV show host played his guitar while spewing out pyrotechnics on top of a customized stereo-mobile. Of course, what would a Conan skit be without the catch: they eventually stop to fight about directions, with Richter saying he could not hear the GPS because of the guitar solo.

Alongside O'Brien and Richter were Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band drumming behind the monster vehicle, which the Sydney Morning Herald reports was roaring down Interstate 5 in California, the main thoroughfare that links San Diego to Los Angeles. Dressed in his blazing red pajamas and a wrap around his head, O'Brien was dressed as Doof Warrior, while Richter was dressed as Immortal Joe, wearing a skull-shaped mask.

However, Conan O'Brien and Andy Richter were not the only celebrities bedecked in costumes during Comic-Con; the New York Times reports that "Lord of the Rings" alum Elijah Wood, one of Conan's guest during his first show in San Diego, confessed that he roamed around the highly publicized convention in a costume. He has even ran into Guillermo del Toro, also wearing a costume with thousands of convention attendees surrounding them.

Whether wearing red tights or in a spiffy suit, Conan O'Brien always knows how to make fun of himself to make others laugh. O'Brien will be holding his show in San Diego for the entirety of Comic-Con, so expect Comic-Con themed skits from the late night talk show host.
