After dating for eight months, Cara Delevingne and her girlfriend have reportedly broken up.

In a report by Daily Mail, there are rumors that the pair has split up after confirming that they are dating back in June. American singer St. Vincent and Cara have been dating since December 2014, and the model admitted their relationship earlier this year. The news publication tried to reach Cara's and St. Vincent's representatives for comments.

The 22-year-old model opened up about her bisexuality in the July issue of Vogue. Since then, Cara received enormous support from her fans and the gay community. She admitted that it took her years to able to accept her sexuality.

"I think that being in love with my girlfriend is a big part of why I'm feeling so happy with who I am these days. And for those words to come out of my mouth is actually a miracle," the model said. "It took me a long time to accept the idea, until I first fell in love with a girl at 20 and recognized that I had to accept it."

Page Six also reported about the rumored breakup citing that it has been two weeks since St. Vincent posted a photo with Cara. The publication stated that Cara's rep did not comment and that St. Vincent's side had no idea about the rumored split.

Cara's interview with Vogue last July sparked an outrage when the writer claimed that the model's family believes that her bisexuality is "nothing more than a phase."

"Her parents seem to think girls are just a phase for Cara, and they may be correct," the writer wrote. "When I suggest to Cara that to trust a man, she might have to revise an old and stubborn idea of hers--that women are perennially troubled and therefore only women will accept her--her smile says she concedes the point."

However in the recent interview she did with The New York Times, Delevingne said that she found "nothing malicious" in the article that was made about her. But she then clarified that her bisexuality is "not a phase."

"My sexuality is not a phase. I am who I am," Cara said.
