Caitlyn Jenner promises to help change the way society views transgender in her reality TV show "I Am Cait" that premieres Sunday at 8:00 p.m.

"It's not just about me. it's about all of us accepting one another. We're all different. That's not a bad thing, that's a good thing, and while it may not be easy to get past the things you always don't understand, I want to prove that it is absolutely possible if we only do it together," Jenner said referring to her new TV show in a report by the Boston Herald.

It took the world by surprise after Olympian Bruce Jenner finally came out of the closet transitioning into the transgender woman Caitlyn Jenner in the cover of Vanity Fair. What made it even more interesting was that Jenner happens to be the step-father of the freewheeling Kardashian siblings.

The one-hour reality TV series "I Am Cait" will document Jenner's journey into finding social acceptance as a real woman and her attempt to receive full approval from his family and friends. The eight-episode series will also tackle sensitive issues on gender and the struggles transgender teenagers face to be accepted.

"I Am Cait" is produced by Bunim/Murray the same producers of the reality TV show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" which Jenner also starred.

However, critics say the new reality TV show which tackles much sensitive social issues than "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" may pose a big challenge for the producers, New York Times reported.

"It's eight one-hour episodes of Ms. Jenner educating herself on transgender issues . . . the producers have to prove it can deliver a show that does not exploit its subject," the news site added.

Meanwhile, a Twitter video of Jenner's growing collection of heels he sent Khloe has been trending over social media, E! News reported. In the video, Jenner quipped, "Don't get jealous Khloé, it's filling up."
