Cara Delevingne's schedule has been hectic to promote her film, John Green's "Paper Towns." So when an "exhausted" Cara did an interview for an American morning show, the TV anchors didn't take it well.

The 22-year-old model turned actress recently did an interview for "Good Day Sacramento" but the ending was not as pleasant as hoped. MTV UK reported that Cara was slammed by the anchors when she appeared to be "exhausted" while she answered questions.

Despite being tired, Cara was game in replying to questions in her usual playful manner. However, the anchors of the show did not seem to appreciate her sarcastic comments and eventually called her out for it before cutting the interview short. The interviewer went as far as making a suggestion that she "take a little nap, maybe get a Red Bull."

The Guardian reported that it was indeed a painfully awkward interview to watch. The start went immediately wrong when one of the interviewers called her "Carla" instead of Cara. Things went from bad to worse when anchor Mark Allen interrupted and asked whether if there was any problem or if she was just exhausted.

Delevingne then explained that it was the night after the premier and the whole process was emotional.

"The premiere was last night. It was a very emotional night, felt like the end of an era. But I'm not any less excited than I was a couple of weeks ago," Cara answered.

According to Daily Mail, the three anchors of the show didn't take Cara's "attitude" well and added comments like the actress seemed "irritated" while one said "perhaps it's just us."

At that point, Cara interrupted and said "Yeah, yeah, I think it's just you."

"We'll let you go take a little nap, maybe get a Red Bull, how about that?" one of the anchors said and immediately cut the interview.

After Cara was out of the picture, the anchors continued to criticize the model with a sarcastic comment saying that the model was in the "mood."

"But still - you make five million dollars for six weeks worth of work, you can pretend to talk to Good Day Sacramento with some umph!" the anchor said.
