The couple took a trip to the Philippines to provide local communities in need the chance of regaining their hearing through free hearing aids.

Describing his time with the Starkey Hearing Foundation, Sir Elton commented on how it has been an "incredibly uplifting experience" for him to work in partnership with the organization and to support their projects.

The "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me" singer had certainly drawn attention to the brightness and vigor behind his efforts for helping out.

"When people are cared for and not forgotten, their human spirit comes alive, and that is why, when Starkey approached me, I had to be a part of Operation Change", Sir Elton said.

The 67-year-old singer and his partner took on the inspiring journey with founders of Starkey Hearing Foundation, Bill and Tani Austin. They also brough their son and Starkey's executive director, Steven Sawalich, as they traveled.

In 2013, the organization was able to give out approximately 165,000 free hearing aids all over the world.

Other celebrities that are expected to be featured on Operation Change include Bill Clinton, the Dalai Lama, and Donna Karan, to name a few.

Meanwhile, Sir Elton will be hosting the King's World Team Tennis Smash Hits event with Billie Jean King on December 7 in London and will benefit his AIDS Foundation.

The highly acclaimed musician associates his charity to "an AIDS-free future" that will offer increased access to appropriate and adequate treatment for people suffering from HIV in Africa.
