The Montreal Impact (8-8-4) will host the Eastern Conference leading DC United (12-7-5) on August 8 at the Saputo Stadium in Quebec, Canada as the 2015 Major League Soccer regular season moves forward.

This is the teams' second encounter this season with United winning their opening weekend match, 1-0, at home last March, according to the MLS official website.

Montreal will try to even things out with DCU as they also had been clinging on for the sixth and last playoff spot in the East as they are presently tied with Orlando City SC with 27 points apiece in the overall standings.

The Impact settled for a 1-1 draw versus Eastern Conference second placers New York Red Bulls on Wednesday, via ESPN, which could be an indication that they could also put up a firm stand against the East leaders.

The Black and Red are still looking sharp as ever, winning two consecutive games in convincing fashion although their defense is becoming suspect as of late.

United's most recent match was a 6-4 drubbing of Real Salt Lake, as per SB Nation. While the offense of Ben Olsen's team is hot, their defense seems to be lacking in intensity. Prior to this win, they gave up two goals to lowly Philadelphia Union while scoring three.

This should be Olsen's top concern going into this match against Montreal as the Canadian club is capable of lighting up the scoreboard at any given time.

The predicted result is a 3-2 win by United over the Impact. The East frontrunners will continue their domination of the conference on their way to the playoffs this October.

Montreal Impact starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Bush; Oyongo, Cabrera, Ciman, Toia; Mallace, Donadel; Romero, Piatti, Duka; Oduro

DC United starting lineup (4-4-2 formation): Dykstra; Kemp, Birnbaum, Boswell, Korb; Rolfe, Kitchen, Arnaud, DeLeon; Saborio, Espindola
