The award was another feather in the star's cap after bagging the NBA MVP title and the 2015 Championship with his Warriors team. Now, even teens are raving about Curry. Spotted with him at the Los Angeles event was his wife Ayesha, CBS Sports reported.

The Curry family became instant celebrities after the Golden State Warriors fought through the NBA finals and the brood were always spotted full force supporting Steph. But the one who absolutely stole the show was then two-year-old Riley whose lovable antics, especially during after-game press briefings, always landed the news.

Onstage during the awards, Curry noted the exciting year that was for him and his team, and gave a special shout out to his two daughters Riley and Ryan, who were both not with him at the event.

In related news, Curry was spotted playing golf with President Barack Obama over the week. With them were Curry's father and NBA player Ray Allen, the Washington Post reported.

Obama was spotted golfing with other celebrities the days prior squeezing it in what White House sources say was a "demanding last several weeks," the report added.

Other winners in the 2015 Teen Choice Awards included notable personalities spanning across TV, movies, music, sports, and fashion.

Among prominent winners were, boy group One Direction who took home eight awards, Britney Spears who was recognized as "Style Icon", the late "Fast & Furious" actor Paul Walker who was also honored by his movie co-stars, and Ellen DeGeneres who was awarded "Best Comedian."
