Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadive and Chief of player personnel Vlade Divac denied a report that they are looking to trade center DeMarcus Cousins, presumably with Los Angeles Lakers No. 2 pick D'Angelo Russel.

Bleacher Report's Howard Beck said that most of the members of the Kings organization, including coach George Karl, wanted the All-Star Cousins traded.

The star center was also supposedly open to being shipped to the Lakers.

Cousins, as cited by Sports Illustrated, responded to Beck's comment  by tweeting "blah blah blah".

Divac said he agrees with Cousins, and Ranadive followed by tweeting "WeAreFamily".

Reports emerged after the draft that division rival Los Angeles Lakers were willing to part ways with Russell in exchange for Cousins.

Many see the Cousins-for-Russell trade as a stretch, especially if new recruit Roy Hibbert proves his worth with the Lakers.

Rumors that the Kings may be trading Cousins started in the weeks leading up to the June NBA draft with the  Denver Nuggets Boston Celtics most likely destinations.

Back then, Karl was eyeing a reunion with Ty Lawson, whom he coached for several years with the Nuggets.

Karl had said he that his relationship with Cousins will eventually improve, according to CBS Sports, but this may have happened only after after Ranadive thought of letting him go if he could not fix the situation with the Kings center.

Cousins, who turns 25 this month, averaged 24.1 points, 12.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.7 blocks per game last season--all caareer highs.

Along with Cousins, Beck also said that Carmelo Anthony and Joe Johnson as could soon be on the trading block.
