MacBook Air will come with a thinner profile as compared to its predecessors, a newly enforced Force Touch System and will be working on a powerful new Intel Skylake Core I Processor. This will enhance the user experience and is expected to help Apple gain greater market share. It would have an impressive battery life, feature the latest OS X El Captian and would be a tough competitor to Microsoft's Surface Pro 4.

As per a report on Yibada, the Macbook Air and Pro 2016 might be launched with iMac and Apple TV. The report also claims that Apple is suspected to release the successor with its miniature tablet along with iPad Mini 4 together with iPad Pro.

Rumors also indicate that MacBook Air 2016 would try to fix the issues that were highlighted in its predecessor. For instance, it is being said that the device would improve on aspects like design, display, performance and features. It would have a 13-inch panel with Retina display and would come with USB Type C connectivity. The keyboard and track pad are likely to remain the same, but would be slot in the Force Touch technology and a specialized Touch ID Finger Print recognition system. With so many upgrades and changes, the chances of an October release are reportedly difficult to achieve, as stated in the report. However, they are confident that the new MacBook Air would be out in markets by Christmas.

So far, there are no clarifications from Apple as well as leading gadget freaks to continue speculating. As of now, the reports make it clear that the consumers might have to wait a little longer for this hybrid gizmo.
