Good news Marvel fans as new updates for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 have been revealed regarding a new cast member, details of the "Mockingbird" spin off and new theories on Simmon's subplot.

However, ComicBook reports that the "Age of Ultron" star told the fans that he was interested in joining "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." TV series during a panel in Wizard World Chicago, but teased that "he hasn't been invited yet."

The website further adds Renner was very opened and game to join the show's season 3 as long he is near to where his children and made it clear that the final decision will not be his but from the showrunners as he urgers the fans to "so go yell at those guys."

Before Hawkeye went on to be a founding member of the Avengers, he was a top SHIELD agent and assassin in the "Marvel Cinematic Universe" and as season 3 of the show will deal with super powered beings and possible aliens, his expertise and wit will be a interesting dynamic in Phil Coulson's team seeing that has "retired" after the events of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and returing to active duty in "Captain America: Civil War," fans will likely see Clint Barton in "Agents of "S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 very soon.

Aside from Hakweye joining the show, the Christian Today reports that ABC has put the green light on the pilot episode of "Mockingbird" spin off series. The new series will be called "Marvel's Most Wanted" and it will focus on SHIELD agents Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki) and her ex-husband Lance Hunter (Nick Blood).

The Mockingbird spin off was original conceived as an offshoot of the premiered Marvel TV series, but was cancelled during its early concept. Paul Lee, president of ABC commented that the "Mockingbird" spin off was good possibility as the website further adds that the new show is not a spin-off per se, but rather a new project that is sole focussed on both Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter. So far, the plot details and premier launch of "Marvel's Most Wanted" are still in development as Marvel Studios will be making updates very soon.

Lastly, Moviepilot reports that new theories of Jemma Simmon's disappearance for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 have been revealed.

YouTube channel Cool Nerd Now stated that Jemma Simmon is theorized that she will likely be a villain in "Agents of S.H.I.E.D." season 3 and her alter-ego could be the Inhuman Lash making her MCU's version of the supervillain.

It was reported before that the show's subplot could deal with Leo Fitz (Iain DeCaesketer) trying to save Jemma from the Kree monolith as Chloe Bennet mentioned that only Fitz has the means and determination to save her were Phil Coulson and the rest could not do.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 will premier on Sept. 29, 2015 on ABC.
