Even in death, the bond between mother and child is not lost.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of the late Whitney Houston, took to Twitter to greet her mother a happy birthday.

Houston's daughter with "My Prerogative" singer Bobbi Brown first wrote, "GoodMorningWorld ! & AGrandBeautifulPhenomenalWonderful HappyHappyHappyBirthday2my amazingMommy! 2day is YOUR day, Iloveulady!"

She later on posted a photo of a lighted birthday cake, captioning it "#HappyBirthdaymommy ! #HappyBirthdayWhitney ! #AllAugustAllWhitney #iloveyou ! @nickdgordon @mwhitaker10 #Family."

The iconic diva, who passed away in March 2012, would have turned 51. At the time of her death, Bobbi Kristina was only 18 years old.

Recently, 21-year old Brown has been hinting that she wants to follow her parents' footsteps and join the music industry.

Even though she has very large shoes to fill, Brown isn't daunted by the task, sharing on Twitter, "Think about it.. She had 1babygirl, lungs and a GORGEOUS unforgettable voice .. Who do you think ONLY has HER vocal chords.. ?"

Brown is said to have found mentors in her mom's friends, singing icon Mariah Carey and record producer and former "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson. The two music heavyweights are said to have kept in touch with Brown and want to help make her a star.

Devastated by Houston's death, Brown was hospitalized twice since her passing. Many feared that she was suicidal.

In the first instance, Brown downed alcohol and sedatives after she found out about her mother's death. Houston had died due to a drug overdose.

After Brown was released from the hospital, Houston's bodyguard found Brown drowning in her hotel room bathtub. Sedatives and alcohol were also found in her room.

Since her own brush with death, Brown has turned her life for the better.

She got married to Nick Gordon in January 2014 and  has since reconnected with her father.

Last Father's day the two enjoyed a quiet dinner together. She posted the memorable experience, captioning it with "My face says it all, I love you daddy."
