Their youngest daughter Sasha was earlier unable to make it to their earlier outing. She was leading the group this time with the president preferring to remain at the end, People reported.

The family had been vacationing on the upscale Massachusetts Island since Aug. 7 returned to Washington on Sunday. The two-week break consisted of numerous rounds of golf with celebrities and athletes.

Obama golfed with actor Larry David, NBA legends Ray Allen and Alonzo Mourning and even former President Bill Clinton. The Obamas during the summer vacation also attended a birthday celebration and some good old-fashioned family time.

This apart, the family spent time away from the national capital enjoying beach outings, hikes, and dinner at some of the top restaurants of the island.

This time around too, the Obamas stayed at a luxurious rented property in Chilmark on the western part of the island. The rented farmhouse, Blue Heron features seven-bedrooms, nine-baths, and 8,000 square-foot space.

Housed on a 10-acre plot, it is priced at over $22 million. It also has 17 rooms, expansive water views of Vineyard Sound, an infinity pool and hot tub, and a dual tennis-basketball court.

The first family returned from their annual vacation on Sunday. Before boarding Air Force One, Obama packed in some golf with Robert Wolf at Farm Neck Golf Club.

The family was pictured as they emerged out of the flight en-route at Cape Cod to greet people. Malia, 17, Sasha, 14, and even Michelle Obama appeared to be tired and put up glum faces as they landed. But, later on they were all smiles as they interacted with the people waiting to catch a glimpse of them.

The first lady even shook hands with a small girl on the arms of her mother.
