Yet again, "Jackass" star Steve-O faces misdemeanor charges for his continuous anti-SeaWorld stand. This time, his daring stunt may land him in jail for no less than one year.

The police were alerted to the scene after several 911 calls of what nearby residents thought was a suicide attempt. In no time, L.A.'s West Selma Avenue was scrambling with police cars, firefighters, and a helicopter circling the area.

But they would soon find out that what was in front of them was far from an emergency or a crime scene, but actor Steve-O whose real name is Stephen Glover throwing a dangerous stunt as a show of protest against SeaWorld's practice of making orcas perform while kept in captivity.

Glover climbed a 100 feet construction crane, hung a small inflatable whale at the end of the crane, set off fireworks, and shot a video of himself lambasting SeaWorld, Reuters reported.

In 2013, a documentary was released allegedly revealing SeaWorld's questionable practice of keeping orcas captive to make them perform for profit. Since then, Glover has made his protest pubic through his stunts.

On Monday, the actor was charged with "creating a false emergency, use of unregistered fireworks, storing fireworks without a permit, possession of fireworks without a permit and trespassing" according to L.A.'s Attorney's Office as reported by Reuters.

If convicted, he faces jail time of up to one year and six months plus fines.

While atop the crane, Glover took to Facebook documenting his antics through photos and videos. In the caption he wrote, "It's stunt time. Did I mention that I'm really high in the air? Hearing sirens now."

His last post before climbing down the crane while the area was crawling with cops wrote, "Anyone wanna bail me out of jail?"

For the same protest, the 41-year-old actor in the "Jackass" movies was also charged last year with a traffic infraction after vandalizing a SeaWorld signage writing "SeaWorld Sucks," Los Angeles Times reported.
