Weeks after his breakup with "Little Mix" singer Perrie Edwards, has Zayn Malik already moved on with Burberry model Neelam Gill?

Former "One Direction" member Zayn Malik is reportedly dating model Neelam Gill. According to Daily Mail, the singer and the Indian model met when in London back in March just before he quit the band. However, nothing happened during that time because he was still engaged with his then girlfriend Perrie Edwards.

Now that the two have split up and called their engagement off, rumors that Zayn Malik is moving on with the Burberry model surfaced. Well it seems like his dating speculations involving Kendall Jenner is irrelevant now. Sources believe that the two reconnected during the British Asian Awards in April where Neelam wrote to Zayn on Twitter saying, "Congratulations on your award tonight @zaynmalik, catch up soon!"

"She is going to LA to spend some time with Zayn and see how things go from there," a source claimed. "Neelam doesn't know if she wants all of the drama that comes with dating someone in the public eye."

Yahoo Celebrity UK website reported that although there are rumors that the two might be dating, Neelam is serious about her career and does not want anything to affect that.

"She is serious about her career and doesn't want anything to get in the way of that but she has hit it off with Zayn," a source said.

Mirror UK dug in deeper to get to know that lady involved with Zayn. The Indian model apparently made her catwalk debut with none other than famous brand Burberry. Gill said that she practiced everyday for the runway show since she got casted.

"I would go out to my garden in these Burberry shoes and get my mum to record me on my iPhone," Neelam revealed.

The 20-year-old became the first Indian model for the upscale brand. She was also chosen by Kanye West to walk on his Adidas show at the New York Fashion Week. Apart from the runway, Neelam also appeared in Vogue alongside Romeo Beckham for the brand's Christmas advertisement last year.
