Earlier, Swift already won Best Female Video and Best Pop Video for "Blank Space."

"First, I want to thank Kendrick Lamar, I wish he was here, but he's off in Europe on tour being amazing. But he's such a positive influence in my life, and I wanted to thank him first," said Swift

The girl power music video bested Beyonce's "7/11," Lamar's "Alright," Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud," and Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars' "Uptown Funk."

Swift went on to thank her gorgeous gang, "This was such a collaborative effort. These women helped create their parts, write their roles and decide what they wanted to be. Two of these women I've named cats after. For the fans to give us this bonding experience we'll have forever -- thank you from the bottom of my heart."

The singer also acknowledged that there have been speculations about the meaning of the video. She didn't validate any but instead Swift ended her speech by saying, "I'm just happy in 2015 to live in a world where boys can play princesses and girls can play soldiers."

"Bad Blood" features 18 famous stars including singers, supermodels, and actresses. The video has nearly 500 million views to date.
