"Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively has graced the cover of the September issue of Marie Claire, in which she speaks up about her relationship with actor husband Ryan Reynolds and why she stopped acting for a while.

The 26-year-old actress has opened up about how she and Reynolds are spending much time with each other every week.

After co-starring as romantic partners in the superhero action movie, "Green Lantern" in 2011, the Hollywood couple tied the knot in the following year.

Lively shared about how they hang out as a couple and said, "There's no major decision that I make without him."

The actress also added, "The best part is when we turn off our phones and just talk and hang out. He's my best, best friend. What do you do with your best friend? You do nothing."

The blonde beauty also spoke up about her dream of having many kids (she said 30!) and becoming a first-time mother.

"If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would", the actress told the magazine.

With her strong relationship with 37-year-old actor Reynolds, starting a family and making it grow shouldn't be difficult.

While she has taken a break from acting, Lively has recently launched her lifestyle website, Preserve, with a focus on both e-commerce and charity. It also aims to uphold American artisans and goods while sharing inspiring stories and videos.

The actress explained her preference for this new venture, citing both her high school institution and the "Gossip Girl" set as inflexible environments with erratic work schedules that did not allow her to explore certain paths she wanted to take in life.

"When I finished my show, I wanted to take a break from acting and try what I would have tried if I hadn't acted, and that was this", Lively said.
