Five-time Chinese Super League champions Guangzhou Evergrande and six-time UAE Arabian Gulf League champions Al-Ahli Dubai are set to square off in the second leg of the 2015 AFC Champions League Final match at the Tianhe Stadium in Guangzhou on Nov. 21.

The two teams had settled for a goalless draw during the first leg of the final held at Al-Ahli's Al-Rashid Stadium in Dubai in front of a 9,480-strong crowd on Nov. 7.

Reuters noted that the Southern China Tigers were on top of the Red Knights all throughout the match and that Al-Ahli might be "happy to head to the Far East without having conceded an away goal."

Luiz Felipe Scolari's men had a one-man advantage during the latter minutes when Fursan defender Abdulaziz Haikel was sent off at the 84th minute for a foul against Guangzhou's substitute striker Gao Lin, but the Chinese squad was not able to take advantage of it in scoring any goals during the final six minutes.

Meanwhile, Scolari voiced out worries over his nine players who are included in the China national football team currently competing in the AFC World Cup qualifiers, including goalkeeper Zeng Cheng; defenders Zhang, Mei Fang, and Zou Zheng; midfielders Zheng Zhi (team captain), Yu Hanchao, Huang Bowen, and Zheng Long; and forward Lin.

"After we return to Guangzhou, I must first wait 12 or 13 days for the players to come back from the national team," the 67-year-old Brazilian mentor said after the first leg, expressing his concern that his players may already be fatigued and that their preparations for the next one may be inadequate, as per The National.

"They must first play for the national team and then I will make adjustments then begin preparations for the second leg of the Champions Cup final."

Still, the Chinese squad is favored to win the AFC Champions League title especially that the final match is at their home field in Guangzhou.

The predicted result is a 3-1 win for Guangzhou Evergrande over Al-Ahli Dubai.
