"We Will Strike America at Its Centre in Washington"

(Photo : SCREENGRAB from Reuters) ISIS released another video on Monday which contains threats to attack America.

After threatening to own the Kremlin, ISIS released a new video on Monday vowing to attack the U.S. capital, Washington.

In the video, the terror group warned countries who participate in air strikes in Syria that they would suffer the same fate as France. The brutal attacks in Paris left over a hundred people dead. The French Government has dubbed the attack an "act of war."

According to First Post, on Monday French jet fighters launched a raid on the Syrian city of Raqqa in cooperation with the U.S. Forces. The city is thought to be a hideout for the terrorists.

"We say to the states that take part in the crusader campaign that, by God, you will have a day, God willing, like France's and by God, as we struck France in the center of its abode in Paris, then we swear that we will strike America at its center in Washington," a man wearing fatigues and a turban said in the video.

The group also warned European countries that more attacks are coming.

"I say to the European countries that we are coming, coming with booby traps and explosives, coming with explosive belts and (gun) silencers and you will be unable to stop us because today we are much stronger than before," said the man, who has been identified as Al Ghareeb the Algerian.

Another man in the video also tells the French president that "they have decided to negotiate with you in the trenches and not in the hotels," referring to international talks to stop the Syrian war.

The video was allegedly released by the Islamic State fighters in Iraq.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security did not give comments on the video but said it has "not received information indicating a potential attack."

"While we take all threats seriously, we do not have specific credible information of an attack on the U.S. homeland," a DHS official said.
