Bezo's space company Blue Origin just announced that another New Shephard capsule has been successfully launched into space and its booster rocket landed on Earth shortly thereafter to be reused.

The private space firm owner and Amazon's Jeff Bezos made a statement today that a used rocket which is the rarest of beasts is now safely tucked away at their launch site in West Texas.

One of the biggest costs in a space launch is the rockets that fall back to the ground or ocean. So being able to reuse rockets can reduce the costs of shipping people and payloads into space, making rocket companies frantic in working to build reusable rockets.

Besides the successful testing of the reusability of their rocket, Blue Origin's New Shepard space capsule has been sent into space again to a planned test altitude of 100.5 km (329,839 feet or 62 miles) above the Earth's surface. It returned through 119-mph high-altitude crosswinds and made a gentle, controlled landing just four and a half feet from the pad's center.

New Shepard consists of a BE-3 rocket and crew capsule that can hold six people. The rocket started its own descent which is very important. Bezos mentioned that its full reuse is going to be a game changer and they cannot wait to fuel it up and fly it again.

An invitation from the company is given to those who are interested to travel in space. Interested people can sign up for information on the company's website. For research purposes, also a number of customers that are interested to take payloads into space are also invited.

Blue Origin's first commercial flights will push through if there is success in all of its current set of flight tests. Since the New Shepard and BE-3 are intended for commercial space tourism, no set date for flights is announced yet. United Launch Alliance will be using Blue Origin's BE-3 rocket to power the second stage of their Vulcan orbital rocket.
