Justin Bieber Takes on Ice Bucket Challenge Twice

Justin Bieber has taken on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge twice after being nominated by his manager Scooter Braun and has taken to Instagram to post the videos of him pouring ice water over his head.

On August 16, Scooter Braun nominated Justin Bieber to take on the challenge through a Twitter post and the pop sensation has gladly accepted. He has thrown a bucket of ice water over his head that same day while wearing a white tank top and black shorts. Later, he posted the video on his Instagram account.

After posting the video, Justin Bieber nominated talk show star Ellen DeGeneres, President Barack Obama and Chris Delia to take on the challenge as well.

The following days, Justin Bieber took the Ice Bucket Challenge once more, nominating all his fans, the Beliebers, all over the world to do the challenge before pouring freezing cold water onto himself, saying, "I know you guys got an ice bucket somewhere."

This was all an effort to help spread an awareness message about Lou Gehrig's disease.

Justin Bieber's plan was successful as shortly after he has uploaded the videos, the star began retweeting about numerous fans who have accepted and done the challenge. They have also donated money for the cause.

One fan even tweeted, "@justinbieber I just donated $20 and I will do the #ALSIceBucketChallenge when my mum buys a bucket haha. Follow me justin (@NathanMacrae_)."

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has gone viral all over the world with many music artist and public figures taking on the challenge and posting videos of it just like Justin Bieber.

Other stars who have accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and posted videos of their deed in order to help the project were Taylor Swift, Just Bieber's belle Selena Gomez, Carrie Underwood, British groups Fifth Harmony and The Vamps.

Justin Timberlake, Adam Levine as well as Lil Wayne have also contributed to help spread the awareness on Lou Gehrig's disease.
